Ray Bradbury (August 22, 1920 – June 5, 2012)
I was fortunate to meet author Ray Bradbury on several occasions. He liked to talk to people and loved to tell stories.
At a book signing event I took my kids to see one of the greats. We got not only an autograph but we brought him a chocolate chip cookie. On the signing page, Ray put some of the chocolate chip below his signature.
A gracious man.
A great writer.
A true spirit of communication.
This picture on that day shows him with his trademark smile.
Good night, Ray.
